Its voice was provided by the New York actress Kate Udall who impersonates the Montreal-born French actress Alexandra Stewart, the narrator of Chris Marker’s Sans Soleil. The piece’s ambient sounds were recorded in Montpellier and the music is original. What’s it about? The secret life of French marionettes.
